Oswego County Did Poor Job In Protecting Erin Maxwell

Oswego county social services did investigations into Erin Maxwell's living conditions 3 times prior to her being murdered. 2003, 2005, and 2006- are the years Oswego county received complaints about her living conditions, and nothing was done to help her.

After her death, state police investigators concluded the girl was routinely locked in her bedroom, deprived of food and forced to wear foul-smelling clothing to school. She lived in a house with more than 100 cats, other animals and large piles of animal feces.

There is no word on if any social workers will be relieved of their duties.

My opinion is, someone, more than one person should lose their job over this one. More than one person is responsible for dropping the ball here...This girl should not have died, she should not have had to live in these conditions!
