Gun Control?

This I am sure is going to piss off some people. But here are my feelings. I believe in the right to bear arms. I also believe there should be some sort of common sense involved in the people who do bear arms.

I don't believe that dumb asses should own guns, plain and simple. I was reading the news online and came across this story of a 2 year old who fatally shot himself in the eye, moments after his mother "warned him" not to touch the gun.

What mother in their right mind would allow a loaded gun in the same room with their child? Let alone on a freaking nightstand where it is in full view and access to him?!

I am sorry, but I believe the parents should be punished for this one, and thank goodness, they were arrested.

What are your opinions on this?
